EPISODE 75: "The Horror of the Oscars"

It is the 75th episode of The Horror Files, and what better way to celebrate then with a very special episode. The 96th Academy Awards are happening tonight, and of all the nominated movies, zero are for horror films. So, I wanted took at why horror seems to be so marginalized in mainstream awards circles, the history of horror films that have been able punch through that barrier, and if it is even essential for horror to be accepted by mainstream awards.
